Description

This was a character created by Damien Arancibia and designed by me. I'm honestly very happy with this drawing. It conveys Wire Man's unfinished/broken appearance quite well and has a good pose for once. Also, he just looks really cool.

Info:
Purpose:
Wire Man's original purpose is unknown to many. He was created, but never truly finished by Dr. Cypress. Deployed in a desperate time, he went into a long hiatus, returning as a mindless puppet to Mind Man. He was torn apart and discarded. Cypress scavenged the discarded parts and rebuilt as much as he could. Wire Man's programming couldn't be saved. On top of this, Wire Man had lost the ability to speak.

Personality:
Wire Man has the bliss of a new, fresh mind after his memories were wiped and he was essesntially reverted to nothing. With the naivety of a child and a renewed love for the world, he lives in a world of rainbows and unicorns. Wire Man has the endless desire to learn about his home and everything around it. He knows how to enjoy the simple things in life and likes to ponder on how things work and how they associate with each other. It is a combination of this pondering, his lack of understanding for the world and misleading from his friends that he has a warped perception of reality, associating things that may not be associated or finding similarities in two things of complete opposites. This abstract thought pattern is advantageous for solving riddles and puzzles, this is what makes him an asset to Noir Man as his sidekick.

Relationships:
Split Man: Very little interaction.

Temp Man: Is the mentee of Temp Man. Temp Man teaches Wire Man all about the dangers of the world. Sadly, Wire Man has little perception of danger and takes his advice differently to what he intends.

Disco Man: Associates the words "Disco" and "Jazz" with dance and fun.

Castle Man: One of the few robots that Wire Man has learned the dangers of after being told of his tyranny by everybody he knew.

Flow Woman:

Wreck Man: Associates the word "Wreck" with fighting and violence.

Noir Man: Best friend. Those are the words that Wire Man thinks of when he sees Noir Man. Wire Man is his trusty sidekick and they solve cases and go on adventures together.

Abilities and Features:
Wire Man's unfinished construction is actually advantageous in comparison to his previous construction. He is completely able-bodied and surprisingly well-equipped for combat or general function. His unfinished design gives him an intimidating appearance, despite his friendly nature. However, this robot is not to be underestimated. He's about as stable and/or dangerous as he looks.

His combat abilities revolve around his broken parts. His missing arm being his primary offensive weapon. He has complete control of the motion of each individual wire of his arm. They can extend, retract, bunch, coil, anything within the limitations of a moving wire. He can also send an shocks and electric currents into anything he touches with at least two of his wires. This can build some very intense heat. His other arm can separate at the elbow joint to launch and strike with his heavy fist. This ability has other applications, including grappling and carrying his weight or pulling objects towards him.

His unfinished design allows for another ability. Electromagnetism. The coils on his metal body, as well as the constant electric current that surges through him allows for a controllable magnetic field around him. This allows him great control over anything affected by a magnetic field.

His one main weakness is the fragility of his body. He lacks armour or protection, so any damage he sustains is damage to his internal components, however, this gives him less encumberance and a limber body. He is also easy and simple to repair and requires very few resources to maintain.
