Description

Prince Man is a character created and designed by me for Mega Man Echoes.

Prince Man's design has been sitting in my art book for months. I only just got around to doing him. I have about 4-5 failed attempts at making this one picture, because of the difficult pose and the fact that I wanted to do him particularly well, being one of my favourite characters and all, but I think I've finally got the artwork I've been trying to do for so long.

Prince Man's theme song (composed by Damien Arancibia and arranged in 8-bit by me): soundcloud.com/user-670763919/…

Info:
MM&B CD Entry
A robot full of princely charm, out on an endless quest for a princess.
"Have at you!"
Good Point: Suave
Bad Point: Short attention span
Like: Princesses, Adventure
Dislike: Royal duties
Weapon: Chain knives
Weakness:
Crimeran Militia Threat Ranking: Unregistered
Role: Combat

Purpose:
Prince Man's origins are unclear, even to his creator/father, Castle Man. He was found dead in Castle Crimeradon, damaged beyond repair with a large gash through his body. He was revived by Castle Man as the first creation upon his rebellion. He was completely recreated, from structure to programming, to the degree where he no longer resembled the dead robot in any way. According to Blunt, there was no intent for combat or defense upon his creation, Prince Man was purely a proof of concept, proof that he could create "life" and proof that an entire robot army was possible. The truthfulness of Blunt's claims remain up for debate.

Personality:
A far cry from his father, Prince Man is full of life, inspiration and excitement. Though his morals are warped after spending extended periods of time alone in his father's factory, his general outlook is positive, seeing the best in everyone and the brighter sides to everything, the kind of zeal that the DCPN line generally lacks. His daring, adventurous nature and somewhat childish behaviour almost rubs off from him to everyone around him. However, this should not be mistaken for naivety, he is organised and skilled in abstract thought, being an excellent problem solver and surprisingly reliable leader, if not for his difficulty staying on task. He functions as more of a vice leader, needing a leader to keep him on track.

Abilities and Features:
Being a creation of Blunt, he displays great physical prowess and relatively advanced intelligence. While not specifically made for combat, he is more than adequately adapted for it. His primary combat proficiency lies in small blades, knives and daggers, being quite well-practiced and skilled. It should be noted that he carries a complete armament of blades within his coat, up his sleeves and in his launchers. His fighting style is elegant and focused around quick, flashy bladework, wielding a pair of knives in tandem, along with a launcher on each wrist to fire high-velocity blades or his signature chain knives, which can be used to grapple, pull or whip his adversaries.

Also, for some weird reason, Prince Man's punches are ridiculously strong, overpowering even Castle Man's punches, he just has no idea that he knows how to punch.

He looks good (especially love the shoulder guard), but I wouldn't tell he was a robot master if you didn't told me. Not even the Bane mask gives me a hint. For me it's just not the same without noticeable boots and arm guards.
